This will be a new feature of the Reporter web site. Knowledge of genetics and factors of inheritance are necessary to the responsible breeder. This knowledge enables them to make appropriate selections when considering breeding pairs. It is, or should be, the goal of every breeder to make improvements to the breed.
The pages here will address issues of inheritance in both structure and behavioral and health traits in our Mastiffs. To begin with, the following areas will be addressed.

Front Assembly | |
Rear Assembly | |

We will try to have for each section a number of photographs depicting the various aspects with interpretation by experts as to cause and effect, mode of inheritance and heritability (if known).
