Future Windows Version Features

Update

Ability to receive updates from another database user without losing your own changes. This means that a group of people can work together to build databases, and that people can send us updates, as well as being able to get updates from us. These updates will be able to be mailed as attachments to e-mail.

Installation Instructions for the Windows' Pedigree Browser

When you order the Windows Browser version of the pedigree software, you should receive a single CD with one page of instructions. Windows 95, 98, ME, or XP is required to install and use this version of the program. To install the program insert the CD in your CD drive and follow the instructions as they are displayed. The program and data will be installed under
C:\Program Files\De Vine Farm Pedigree
unless you specify otherwise. Once the program is installed you should be able to start it from the taskbar Start menu Programs: De Vine Farm Pedigree: De Vine Farm Pedigree.

To run the original DOS based pedigree program, use Window's Explorer to view the contents of
C:\Program Files\De Vine Farm Pedigree\Mastiff
and double click on the "pedigree" executable.
