Mastiff Litter Announcements Ordered by Date Of Birth

Mastiff litters are announced on this page free of charge. The sires and dams of all of the mastiff litters on this page are "proven free" of the dominant Mastiff PRA gene unless explicitly noted otherwise and OFA certified (prelim or permanent, or GDC,OVC, PennHIP) with respect to hip dysplasia. Also see Adults Looking for Good Homes. NOTE: when both sire and dam are PRADNA clear of PRA the pups will not have PRA, however, when both sire and dam are certified clear of hip dysplasia although the pups are statistically less likely to develop hip dysplasia some of the pups may develop hip dysplasia.

Additional testing information is listed in the short pedigrees provided. If appears after a dog's name they have had their hips, elbows, heart and eyes checked (NOTE: they may NOT have passed) and the results are listed on the Canine Health Information Center's web site. Click on the image after the dogs name to go to their OFA page and see their test results as well as those of close relatives. NOTE: If you OFA Prelim your mastiff and they are 12 months or older, please initial the authorization block to release all results (including abnormal ones) so that I can look up the results on the OFA web site. Thanks for your attention.

*A Mastiff can be "proven free" of the Dominant PRA gene by being DNA tested with the OptiGen DNA test or having both their sire and dam proven free of the gene (PRADNAP -clear by Parentage). For example, a Mastiff whose sire's parents were both DNA tested clear and whose dam was DNA tested clear would be proven free of the PRA gene.
