De Vine Farm's Caitlyn
DOB: 10/6/90, fawn

Sire: Ch. Willowledge Brett
Dam: Old School Peersleigh Muffin, OFA good
Caitlyn had a wonderful temperament, like her sire, and was always
happy and friendly.
She developed OCD in her knee at 3 1/2 months and had surgery
at four months.
She also had Ununited Anconeal Process (UAP)
in both elbows. The first sign that she had UAP was a slight puffiness on
the outside of her elbows and a limp which became progressively worse at around
6 to 8 months of age. She had surgery on both elbows to remove the anchoneal
which had failed to unite. The surgeries were successful and she healed and
was sound for a while. Unfortunately Caitlyn developed
a chronic joint infection which made her joints fuse.
She was put to sleep just before she turned two.
It was a very very sad day for those who loved her.
