Blast from the Past

The following items have been sent to us from our friends "down-under" which they were able to dig up from the archives of their library in "The Stock-Keeper and Fanciers Chronicle," a weekly Journal about Dogs, Poultry, Pigeons, Rabbits, Cage Birds & Pet Stock. Hope you enjoy them. Items are copies exactly as they appeared at the time/place of origin.

Mastiff bitch, 13 months old, beautiful fawn, with the usual perfect black markings, a splendid disposition, chief fault is being shy when out, but has never been out more than three times, capital yard dog, fit for exhibition and without a doubt will make a champion brood bitch, by David Garrick (well known as a winner at many prominent shows) ex Weleda, winner of 2nd prize Birmingham, only time shown, thus it will be seen that her breeding is of the choicest; I will sell for the best offer, or will accept five pounds ten shillings, very cheap - Joseph Leadbetter, Emporium, Fleetwood
