World of the Web
There may be many of you already taking advantage of the resources on the Internet and
the World Wide Web, but if you are new to this experience, we thought we would point you
in the direction of some interesting areas to explore. We will also feature some items
which have come off the Web for those of you who don't yet have a connection.
A couple of years ago we were discussing slime (we probably had nothing better to do at
the time) and someone asked for a definition which was very nicely provided by Cat Angus.
Drool | When you are eating in front of your dog and suddenly this stream of
drool dribbles to the ground (can also be accompanied by the sound of a waterfall!)
|
Slobber | Either a mouthful of water from the toilet or other miscellaneous
drool that ends up on YOU.
|
Goobers | The short thick ones that just kind of hang three or four inches
and threaten to get on you.
|
Slingers | When they shake their heads and drool, slobber, or goobers fly
past you (hopefully) and land elsewhere.
|
Sloobers | When they shake their head and the slinger flips up and wraps
around their nose!
