Samson is very strong in the rear, graced with fluid movement, and has thrown both traits in his offspring. The pedigree of this dog is strong enough in the rear that he may be able to correct the weaker rear of a bitch.

The stifle is moderately straight which has proven to be correctable when bred to a bitch whose pedigree sports good angulation.

His temperament is very gentle, warm and friendly to strangers but has been known to become extremely protective when the occasion demanded. His offspring are all well tempered and those that have been shown have finished their Championships.

Samson is a very sound dog. He has never been ill, nor thrown offspring with health problems.
