Clifford has a very sweet and outgoing personality. He can be a bit indifferent initially with strangers but after a treat or some pats warms quickly to adults and children are never a stranger to him. He is friendly/playful with other dogs but is also very gentle and careful around puppies.

He completed his championship in his first two weekends out at 13 months of age and will be continued to be shown lightly as well as is working towards his CD. He is very athletic and will also try agility later once he is more mature.

He is fully tested (hips/elbow prelims, thyriod, cardiac, patellars, vWB and PRA proven clear by parentage) with the exception that Cystinuria and CERF exams have not yet been done.

Now at 15 months of age, he stands 31" and weighs a lean 185 lbs. We are expecting him to mature to 32-32 1/2" and 210-220 based on the maturity rates of both parents.

His strengths are in his outgoing personality, soundness/movement and structure. This is not a dog I worry about any soundness issues with including pano, blowing cruciates, etc. He has always been sound even after doing many things that have made me cringe (leaping down stairs or huge leaps out of the truck, on/off the kids trampoline etc).

Structurally, he has plenty of breastbone / very nice front, strong rear and plenty of angulation which he does throw.

He is available at stud on a limited basis and any breedings considered will be within the spirit of the MCOA Code of Ethics.

Semen is available only as usage for SI or AI breedings. There will be no natural breedings with outside bitches.

I can be difficult to reach by phone, so initial inquiries should be via email if possible, or between 9-10 pm eastern time by phone. You are welcome to try to telephone at other times but between dogs and children I often miss the phone.

Clifford's dam, Cape Wind's Forever Autumn, is OFA prelim good and elbows clear at 20 months, CERF at 16 months, PRADNA, and OFA cardiac and patellas.
