He is friendly to all people including strangers. Between 1 and 2 years of age, he was occasionally aggressive towards some types of dogs, but now that he has matured he has developed a friendly disposition towards other dogs.

He is an extremely athletic dog with a deep chest and good muscle tone, especially on the buttocks. He loves long walks, especially on mountain trails, and with periodic rest periods and an adequate water supply he has coped well and enjoyed treks in the local mountains, lasting up to two days.

He accomplished 4 majors in his first 5 shows including a 5 point major at the 1994 National Specialty where he acheived Best Of Winners against a very strong field. He has OFA good hips and clear elbows.

Interested bitches must be OFA certified and have a friendly temperament and sound disposition.
