World of the WebThere may be many of you already taking advantage of the resources on the Internet and the World Wide Web, but if you are new to this experience, we thought we would point you in the direction of some interesting areas to explore. We will also feature some items that have come off the Web for those of you who don=t yet have a connection. MAILING LISTS (repeated from last issue)These are groups of people that share common interests and discuss a variety of topics related to those interests. Questions are asked, answered and debated (sometimes hotly) by the participants. Mastiff List -- Several hundred (I don=t know the exact count at this time) Mastiff lovers (English, Neo, Bull, Dogue, etc.) talking about their Akids@. You can expect 10-30 e-mails a day from this list. To subscribe, send e-mail to mastiff-request@bigdog.geo.cornell.edu and put the word "subscribe" in the body (the subject line is ignored). Mail to the list (goes to everyone on the list) is sent to mastiff@bigdog.geo.cornell.edu WellPet List -- Originated in Australia, this list's subject matter deals with natural alternatives to feeding, healing and general care giving. Several vets who practice either combination of treatments or completely homeopathic treatment are members. To subscribe, send an e-mail message to majordomo@cia.com.au saying "subscribe wellpet-l" Mail to the list (goes to everyone on the list) is sent to wellpet-l@cia.com.au.
