Sam is a fun dogs to bring out and about. He's incredibly sweet, even to the point of not picking up on any negative messages other dogs might be trying to send him! He adores everyone he meets and is happy to go anywhere we care to take him. Shows don't phase him in the least - in fact, we have yet to find anything that phases him.

We brought him out as a puppy for the first time to a fairly big supported show, and he not only won his class, but went on to take reserve winner's dog to a four-point major! From there he won Best Puppy and on to a Puppy Group III! Especially a neat thing since he was being shown by someone who had never shown a Mastiff before.

Sam has grown a LOT and as a result has not been shown much in the past year. He is still catching up with himself both physically and mentally. He is really a charming dog, and we expect big things for him.

His strengths are his outstanding temperament, good size, nice topline, great bone, perfect front and great pedigree. His weaknesses are his light ears (hopefully to darken with time) and his very moderately angled rear, which will hopefully have a chance to regain the angulation he had as a puppy now that his growth has slowed down. His testing will be complete before he is offered for breeding.
